Our sole trip to Saguaro National Park was a brief drive by. The park is small by national park standards but is well stocked with the Saguaro cacti that epitomize the entire state. When I was processing this Fuji Provia slide I was tempted to edit out the jet contrails in the sky but I resisted because there is no remaining pristine wilderness left on Earth and anyone claiming the contrary is a moron in denial! Just a few weeks ago another rich guy dived to the bottom of the Marianas Trench in the Pacific and yes even ten thousand meters underwater in the middle of nowhere he found garbage on the sea floor. Go to the middle of Antarctica and sample the atmosphere with a gas chromatograph and you will easily detect the stench of humanity.
