Sometimes I am pleased with what comes out of my cameras. Today we drove up to Yellowstone again to see the paint pots. Paint pots are boiling cauldrons of mud and, for utterly inexplicable reasons, people love paint pots! Sure the geysers, rivers, mountains, wildlife, and super volcanoes are OK, but what about those paint pots? The paint pots did not disappoint but on the way back we stopped in at the Norris Geyser Basin. Mali didn’t see this basin on previous trips and I couldn't remember my last visit. It was time for a look. The sky and light were with me and colors on the basin did the rest.
