This weekend we drove up to Donnelly Idaho for their Huckleberry Festival. Mali was hoping to find lots of people selling huckleberries but she was disappointed. The Huckleberry Festival was more like a giant garage sale than a collection of fruit stands. We did purchase one expensive bag of huckleberries from the only outlet selling them. After grabbing a huckleberry Danish we drove back to Meridian. On the way, we got off the main road and checked out Gold Fork Hot Springs shown here. Gold Fork is a few kilometers off the highway at the end of a dirt road. It’s a nice secluded little spring. We didn’t have our swimsuits but the next time we toddle by we’ll stop in.
