Travel websites rank Boise’s greenbelt trail as the premier attraction in the city. I have to agree. The greenbelt is a mostly paved biking and walking trail that runs along the Boise River from the near the base of the Lucky Peak dam all the way past where we live in Meridian. The parts of the trail that snake through the downtown area connect many city parks. This shot was taken in Esther Simplot Park. We biked into the park from the greenbelt. It was the first time we’ve visited this park.
