In the summer of 1992, my mother rented a new house for a few weeks near her townhome in Bozeman for my family and my brother’s family. At the time we both had young children about the same age. Here I am with my kids Helen and Jacob. Jacob was not even two yet. My daughter and her cousins were all around five. The rental didn’t go as smoothly as I would have liked. Ruth and Sue had a fight and stopped talking to each other for about half the time we were there. Just another family vacation.
